Clearing your Cache (Browsing History)

Sometimes pages may appear broken or with incorrect settings. This could be because you need to clear your cache (browsing history) which will refresh an expired link or website content.


To do this for Mozilla Firefox:


On Windows

Step 1: Click the menu icon on the top left of your window and click on "Options"

Step 2: Select the “Advanced” tab, and choose the “Network” menu. Click on the "Clear Now" button.

On MAC

Step 1: Click Firefox Menu > Preferences

Step 2: Select the “Advanced” tab, and choose the “Network” menu. Click on the "Clear Now" button


To do this for Google Chrome:

Step 1: Click on the Chrome menu next to the address bar then navigate to “More tools” and click on "Clear browsing data…".


Step 2: A box titled "Clear browsing data" will pop up. Ensure that the "Save User Passwords" box is not ticked, and click on "Clear browsing data"


To do this for Safari:

Step 1: Click Safari in the upper left-hand side of your screen. In the menu that appears, click Preferences.

Step 2: In the window that appears, click the Privacy tab. Click the button “Manage Website Data”

Step 3: Click “Remove All” button the pop-up window that appears.
